I decided after Henry was born th...YES to all this. I decided after Henry was born that our family functions best when I can be home a majority of the time. I feel so blessed to have a career that lends itself to part time hours away, even if it means I have to work from home during naps, at night, etc. And you have no idea the way that you are helping and equipping other mothers by doing babysitting! I was determined not to put Henry in daycare, and was so discouraged in searching for a caregiver, as we can't afford a solo nanny- even if I had found one willing to do part-time. I finally found a mom who started staying home (former teacher) after having kids and now watches a couple kids at different times throughout the week alongside her own daughter. It has been the biggest blessing, and I feel like she is such a valuable member of the team of people loving and caring for Henry!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
